Girls’ Social Communication Group

We are excited to invite expressions of interest for our Girls’ Social Skills Holiday Group!

This fun and interactive group is designed to help girls build confidence, make meaningful friendships, and learn practical strategies for navigating tricky social situations — all in a supportive and understanding environment.

What We’ll Focus On

  • Communication styles – understanding verbal and non-verbal cues

  • Making and keeping friends – starting conversations, joining in play, and maintaining connections

  • Navigating social challenges – problem-solving, managing disagreements, and building resilience

Who It’s For

  • Girls who would benefit from guided social interaction practice

  • Children looking to boost their confidence in group settings

  • Participants will be grouped by age, skill level, and suitability to ensure the best fit

Group Details

  • Session length: 1.5 hours

  • Facilitators: 1–2 speech pathologists per group

  • Location: Embrace Speech Pathology clinic

  • Dates & times: To be confirmed based on interest and availability

  • Cost: Final price will depend on group size

  • Funding: Suitable for both private paying and NDIS-funded clients
